If you’re like me, you’re always on the run and doing three things at once—so texting becomes somewhat of a confusing chore. You’re constantly spelling things wrong and people are always texting you back saying—”…what did you say?” You spent more time correcting yourself than fixing your spelling because it’s hella annoying to have to go back and delete everything just to fix one or two words.
But, one Twitter user and food blogger, Krissy Brierre-Davis, figured out that there is a simpler way to fix some words misspelled in a text box before you send it to your friend/family/hubby/anyone you text. How it works is pretty simple—you click and hold the spacebar down and drag the cursor to where you misspelled the word (or words) and change them easily. Brilliant—right?!?
How come you guys never told me this iPhone trick? I feel duped. pic.twitter.com/2RfRhI4Y1X— Krissy Brierre-Davis (@krissys_kitchen) November 18, 2018
Don’t worry, I tried it myself and it totally works. This is perfect for me, who is always balancing work, kids, laundry, cooking, wine—and texting my friends back.
I wasn’t the only one who was mindblown, though. People on Twitter were super grateful to have this new hack in their life.
