Woman’s Twitter Thread Shows That We Shouldn’t Wait For Our Friends In Need To Ask Us For Help

Many times in our lives, we go through very hard times and need to seek outside help. However, we don’t want to burden our friends and family with helping us in these dark times. Instead, we refrain from asking for help, even though we could truly use it. And, for our friends who we know are going through hard times, we know they could use help, but don’t want to offer out of the blue.

Sheila O’Malley shared a story on Twitter of how her friends rallied around her side to help her after her dad died. While she was too embarrassed to ask for help, her friends decided to help anyway and were truly needed and appreciated. It’s a valuable lesson as to how we can all use a little help now and again, and we shouldn’t wait for our friends to ask.

It’s always nice to know there are people in the world who will help us when needed, even if we don’t ask.
