While there are many things to look forward to in the month of March—like St. Patrick’s Day and Spring coming through—there is one thing that the majority of the human population is thinking; it’s almost April, so it’s almost time for the final season of Game of Thrones. HBO executives announced in late 2018 that April 14th would be the premiere date of the highly anticipated final season of the series and since the announcement, fans have been waiting for the official trailer to drop.
This week, HBO dropped the first official trailer for the show’s eighth season, and it features all your favorite characters—except, if your favorite characters are the White Walkers, because they don’t show any of those yet.
However, if you’re a fan of the lead cast—you’re in for a special treat.
Arya’s in the trailer a lot.
Sansa is there, too.
There’s a very quick shot of Bran, speaking to Samwell.
Cersei Lannister is there, up to her no-good ways.
Her brother, Tyrion, looking as worried as ever.
And, of course, the hottest incestuous duo in the kingdom, Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen. Plus, her beautiful dragons (the two that are left, that is).
Obviously, since the trailer dropped online, fans and followers have been freaking out.
Arya Stark herself (Maisie Williams) tweeted the trailer and wrote, “BITCH AM FICKING CRYING OMH MY GOD SO EXCITE D.” Yup, that’s pretty clear.

Within minutes, GoT was trending on Twitter. People shared jokes, their favorite gifs, and some theories on what all’s gonna happen in the FINAL SEASON.
